When sewing velvet or the like which is fluffy, slippage of material or damage of material is reduced by using screw (1J for presser foot micro-lifting. Gradually tighten screw (l) for presser foot micro-lifting in the state that nut (I) is loosened, adjust the presser foot to the position where it is finely lifted until it matches the material, and fix it with nut (1).
