If the minute button on the Equity 30402 clock is not working when changing the time, try the following steps:

1. Check the Time Setting Mode – Ensure the TIME/ALARM/RUN Set Switch is in the TIME position before pressing the MINUTE button.
2. Power Cycle the Clock – Unplug the 120V power cord, remove the backup battery (if installed), wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and try again.
3. Inspect for Obstructions – Make sure there is no dirt or debris blocking the button.
4. Press Firmly – Try pressing the button firmly but not forcefully in case it is stuck.
5. Replace the Battery – If using a backup battery, replace it with a new 9V battery to ensure proper functionality.
6. Check for Physical Damage – If the button appears physically damaged, it may require repair or replacement.
7. Contact Support – If none of the above steps work, the clock may need service under the warranty.

If the issue persists, professional service may be required.
