CHECKING
THE TENSION
AND TORQUE
Purpose: To check that the tension, torque and compression
force of the tape take-up section and mobile sections
to ensure smooth tape run and achieve standard VIR
performance.
If the tape transport is not smooth or problems occur
in relation to the tape transport speed, perform the
following check.
Each operation mode without loading a
cassette tape. (Refer to section 1-3.)
