AutoISO-5000 Adapter is not a stand-alone measuring device. It is an accessory designed
to cooperate with MIC-5050 or MIC-10k1 insulation resistance meters. Before measure-
ments, please read the manual of the relevant meter.

The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce changes in the design, accessories and
technical data of the adapter.
AutoISO-5000 Adapter is used to measure the insulation resistance of cables and wires with 3, 4,
and 5 conductors (in cooperation with one of the above meters). In order to provide conditions for correct
operation, the following recommendations must be observed:

Before you proceed to operate the device, acquaint yourself thoroughly with this manual and observe
the safety regulations and specifications defined by the producer

Any application that differs from those specified in the present manual may result in a damage to the
device and constitute a source of danger for the user.

The adapter should be operated only by suitably qualified persons having the necessary permissions
to carry out measurements on electrical systems. Operating the adapter by unauthorized personnel
may result in damage to the device and constitute a source of danger for the user.

The adapter must not be used for networks and devices in areas with special conditions, e.g. fire-risk
and explosive-risk areas.

It is unacceptable to operate the device when:
 it is damaged and completely or partially out of order,
 its cable insulation is damaged,
 it was stored for an excessive period of time in disadvantageous conditions (e.g. excessive humidi-
ty). After moving the device from a cool to a warm place with a high level of relative humidi-
ty, do not start measurements until the device is warmed up to the ambient temperature
(approximately 30 minutes)

Repairs may be performed only by an authorized service point.
