     Let op de juiste polariteit bij het plaatsen van de batterijen.  Plaats alleen batterijen van hetzelfde type. Gebruik geen verschillende soorten batte- rijen of gebruikte en nieuwe batterijen samen.  Verwijder lege batterijen onmiddellijk uit het apparaat. Gooi deze batterijen op een veilige manier weg!     3.3.4 Eenheden van de wieg (functie van de eenheid) Als u kort op de -toets tikt, kunt u schakelen tussen de verschillende weegunits (ml, oz, g/kg). 3.3.5 HOLD-functie Als u tegelijkertijd op de -toets drukt, wordt de zogenaamde „HOLD“-func- tie geactiveerd (op het scherm verschijnt het volgende: H-ON). Als het door u gewogen voedsel zo groot is dat u het scherm niet kunt zien, wordt het gewicht nog steeds op het scherm weergegeven, zelfs nadat u het te wegen voedsel hebt weggenomen.

    6.1 Verwijderen van de verpakking De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkings- materialen zijn uitgezocht vanuit milieuvriendelijke en verwijderingtechnische gezichtspunten en daarom recyclebaar. Het terugbrengen van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop bespaart grondsto en en verkleint de afvalhoop. Lever niet meer benodigd verpakkingsmateriaal in bij een afvalbrengstation, dat zorgdraagt voor de recycling.
