Installation procedure

Be aware of electromagnetic interference (EMC)
during installation.
■ For the signal cables, use a cable with the fol-
lowing requirements:
- Maximum length: 50m
- Recommended Ø: 0.60mm
- Minimum Ø: 0.25mm
- Maximum Ø: 1.00mm
■ Make sure there is a barrier (e.g. a separate
channel or compartment) or minimum distance
of 150 mm between power cables (e.g. 230V)
and cables susceptible to interference (e.g.
control, low voltage, interface, LAN, digital or
analogue signal);
■ If interfering power cables and cables suscep-
tible to interference need to intersect each
other, make sure that this occurs perpendicu-
larly;
■ For the power cables, use the wide openings
to the right with strain relief.
■ For the signal cables, use the narrow openings
to the left.
These measures will minimise the EMC
disturbance as much as possible and will provide
the best communication.
