4. Push on the lower part of the battery until you hear a
click sound.
5. Push and hold the start/stop button until the green
LED light comes on.
6. Move the front hand guard rearward to disengage
the chain brake.
To use the SavE function
The SavE function decreases the chain speed and the
power of the product.
1. Push the SavE button quickly. The green LED
comes on.
2. Push the SavE button again to disconnect the
function. The green LED goes off.
To engage and disengage the heat in
the handles (540i XPG)
The product has heated handles.

Push and hold the SavE button for 1 second to
engage the heat in the handles. The indicator for
heat in the handles comes on.

Push the SavE button quickly to disengage the heat
in the handles. The indicator for heat in the handles
goes off.
Oil level indicator
The oil level indicator shows when it is time to fill chain
oil.

To stop the product
1. Push and hold the start/stop button until the green

battery from the battery holder to prevent accidental

Pull stroke and push stroke
You can cut through wood with the product in 2 different
positions.

To cut on the pull stroke is when you cut with the
bottom of the guide bar. The saw chain pulls through
the tree when you cut. In this position you have
