Important safety
instructions
• Carefully read these instructions.
• Before using the appliance, make sure that
the mains supply voltage corresponds the
voltage on the rating labet, which is lo-
cated underneath the handle.
• Connect the appliance only to power out-
lets with a 10Amp. fuse.
• Always unplug the appliance when it is not
being used or before carrying out any main-
tenance or cleaning.
• Never clean the appliance with trich-
loroethylene or other solvents.
• Never pull the power supply cable or the
appliance itself in order to unplug it.
• Never leave the appliance unattended
when operating and always keep it out of
the reach of children and invalid persons.
• Do not run the appliance over the power
supply cable to prevent possiblle damages.
• Never open the appliance without hav-
ing prevlously unplugged It.
• Do not pick up hot fireplace ashes or lit
matches or cigarettes.
• Do not intake inflammable or corrosive
liquids.
• Use the appliance for domestic use only
and äs per instruction.
• Use with caution on stairs.
• Do not operate the appliance if it looks
damaged.
• For repairs, Service or spare parts, contact
your nearest authorized dealer.
The manufacturer reserves the right to in-
troduce changes to the appliance and its attach-
ments without notice.
We recommend the use of original spare parts
and attachments, in order to maintain the ap-
pliance efficiency and not to invalidate its
guarantee.

This appliance conforms to the E.E.C. decreee
87/308 about radio interference suppression.
Important (U.K. only)
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac-
cordance with tho following code.
Blue — Neutral
Brown — Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed äs follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected
to the terminal that is marked with the letter N
or coloured black. The wire that is coloured
brown must be connected to the terminal that is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.
DO NOT connect either of these wires to the
earth terminal in the plug which is marked with
the letter E or by earth symbol -J=- or coloured
green or green and yellow.
When the terminals in the plug are unmarked
or you are in any doubt äs to the correct con-
nections, consult a qualified electrician.
This appliance meets the requirements laid
down in EEC directive No. 87/308 relating to the
suppression of radio and TV interference.

Appliance functions
and attachments use
It is a multi-functional appliance enclosing in

restrained space 3 different appliances, thus
meeting all requirements for the cleaning of
home surfaces:
(1) LIQUIDS INTAKING - with this function you
can solve all those little "emergency" situations,
such äs:
— blocked up sinks, blocked drains, water dis-
charge from the washing machine or the dish-
washer, Spilling of liquids, refrigerators and
freezer defrostmg: by means of the upholstery
nozzle (18), the crevice nozzle (17), the squee-
gee attachment (19) or (24), which ensures a
good sliding on the surface to be dried, or direct-
ly with the flexible suction hose (14).
(2) DUST AND SOLIDS SUCTION - Thanks to
its wide ränge of Standard attachments, it en-
ables to suck:
— dust from carpets, wall-to-wall carpeting and
hard floors: by means of the combination floor
and carpet nozzle (20);
— dust, crumbs and small objects from radi-
ators ribs, upholstery interstices, drawers or
cobwebs in the corners: by means of the crevice
nozzle (17);
— leaves, earth, stones, ash, shavings, etc.
from all kinds of floors, fire-places, car mteriors,
garages, cellars, "do-it-yourself" laboratories:
by means of the suction hose (14) or with the
uphlostery nozzle, which can also be employed
for dust, crumbs, hairs, etc. on armchairs,
sofas, covers, mattresses and all kinds of up-
holstery.
— dust on shelves, books, lamps, lampshades,
frames knick-knackery, curtains, clothes, dash-
boards, Stereo sets, etc.. by means of the dust-
ing brush (24).
(3) BLOWER - the blowmg facility can be turned
into a practical blower, 'which is particularly
suitable for the cleaning of balconies from
leaves, earth, etc., of points difficult to reach,
and also to blow balloons, rubber boats and in-
flatable mattresses.
How to assemble the appliance
and get it ready for use
Attention: make sure the appliance is not
plugged in.
a) In order to remove the top of the cleaner, pull
its clips outwards (fig. 1).
Lift the top of the cover and take out the five cas-
tors and the various attacnments mside the
recovery tank.
b) Turn the appliance upside-down and fasten
the 5 rollers by pushing them inside their appo-
site seats underneath the tank base (fig. 2).
c) Make sure the black polyurethan filter, which
is necessary to the liquids intaking, or the fabric
filter, which is necessary to dust and solids suc-
tion, is pulled on the floatmg valve cage (fig. 3)
d) Hook back the top of the cover onto the recov-
ery tank pacing its clips back in their former po-
sition by following the reverse procedure äs to
the one described in a).
e) Insert suction flexible hose in suction inlet
rotating clockwise the male connector of the
hose (bajonet joint) - (fig. 4)
f) Insert the attachment which is more suitable
for the cleaning Operation to be carried out
(fig 5).
Some types of appliances are equipped with a
brush having an attachable component (24). In
order to use it, simply insert it on the brush
frame by pressing it downwards, till it clicks.
To remove the component from its seat, press
down the two triggers beside the frame (fig. 6).
Procedure
(1) LIQUIDS INTAKING
Attentiorv make sure the appliance is not
plugged in
Make sure the black polyurethan filter is pulled
onto the floatmg valve cage Insert the attach-
ment which is most suitable for the kmd of
cleaning Operation to be carried out (crevice
nozzle or squeegee attachment) onto the exten-
sion tube or directly onto the flexible hose
(fig. 5).
Plug in the appliance and press the mam switch.
Empty the recovery tank once the cleaning
Operation has ended (see paragraptv "appli-
ance cleaning and maintenance")
(2) DUST AND SOLIDS SUCTION
Attention: make sure the appliance is not
plugged in.
Make sure the fabric filter is pulled onto the float-
ing valve cage.
Insert the attachment which is most suitable for
the kind of cleaning Operation to be carried out
onto the extension tube or directly onto the flex-
ible hose.
Plug in the appliance and press the main switch.
Empty the recovery tank once the cleaning
Operation has ended (see par^graph: "appli-
ance cleaning and maintenance").
(3) HOW TO USE THE BLOWER
Attention: make sure the appliance is not
plugged in.
It is necessary to remove the blowmg facility
flap, which is located on the top of the cover,
by pushing the protruding tongue leftwards
(fig. 7). Insert flexible hose mto air outlet (fig. 8).
Plug in the appliance and press mam switch
