  • Page 3 OVERVIEW MWCA 402 consists of a pair of installation loudspeakers, one of them amplified and the other passive. The active unit integrates a 2x40W RMS amplifier and output contacts for the connection of the passive unit. Both devices integrate a 6.5” woofer and a 1" tweeter. Made of white colour ABS plastic, they have metal grille and fixing handle included.
  • Page 4 CONNECTION Connect the included external power supply to the main loudspeaker. Use the speaker parallel cable to link both loudspeakers considering the polarity. REMOTE CONTROLLER Turn on/off the device. Short press to group a speaker. Long press to extract the speaker from the group.

    SETUP WIFI MODE To configure this loudspeaker system in Wi-Fi mode, it is necessary to download the WiiM Home app, freely available for Android, iOS, Windows and Mac on their respective download pages. STEP 1 Turn on the loudspeaker. The LED should be red (wifi). Search within the smartphone, in the Wi-Fi networks section, the name of the MWA802 speaker.
  • Page 6 STEP 2 The program will search for compatible devices. STEP 3 Once the device is found, it appears on the display. Press "TOUCH ALL"...
  • Page 7 STEP 4 In the next step, we choose the local WIFI network that we have and click continue. STEP 5 The process of connecting the previously detected speaker to the local WIFI network begins. An audible warning will be emitted that the device is connecting to the local Wi-Fi.
  • Page 8 STEP 6 Once connected, click on the icon in the upper left corner to select the different audio sources from which we can send files. STEP 7 NOTE: IF YOU USE SPOTIFY, you must have a Premium account. We select the icon, and after authorizing ourselves to use it, we select the playlist saved in SPOTIFY and display the icon that allows us to select the destination.
  • Page 9 STEP 8 Now we can see that the playlist is running, and at the bottom (in green), the output device in which the audio is playing appears. STEP 9 In the WiiM Home app, we move screens to the right and we can see the information of the speaker playing the audio.
  • Page 10 ADDITIONAL NOTES A) If in step 4, the WiiM Home application does not show us the list of local Wi-Fi networks, we must select it from the CONFIGURATION / WIFI NETWORKS menu of the smartphone and then return to the WiiM Home application to go to step 5.

Previously, we click on the LR icon of each one to assign a channel to each of them (L and R). Once this step is taken. We click on the lower device and drag it to the upper one. STEP 11 The two loudspeakers are linked as a root.

It will show the different possibilities. We select PHONE. STEP 13 The folders stored on the smartphone are displayed. Select the folder where you have the music stored and choose the track.
