CONTROLS Lawnaire ENGINE CONTROLS The Lawnaire 22 is available with either a Briggs & Stratton engine or a Honda engine. THROTTLE / CHOKE (A) pg. 11 Both engines have a combination throttle and choke. ADJUSTMENTS Lawnaire ADJUSTMENTS Chain: The roller chains should have 1/8" - 1/4" (3-6mm) deflection at the center point between the upper idler and water drum sprockets. NOTE: Do not over tighten the chain. Excessive chain tension will reduce chain and bearing life. It can also lead to fatigue or failure of the frame. - Page 19 ADJUSTMENTS Lawnaire Forward / Reverse Bail: The forward / reverse bail should be adjusted so the rear bail tube hits the handle just before the pump runs out of stroke.
