SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS Lawnaire ASSEMBLY / SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS Banding is under tension and may snap back when cut. Wear eye protection and stay clear when cutting the band. 1. CONTROLS Lawnaire HANDLE CONTROLS Throttle/ Choke Control (A)- Both engines have a combination throttle and choke. Adjusts the engine speed. Pushing the throttle control forward increases engine speed. Pushing the throttle control all the way forward engages the choke for starting. Pulling the throttle control back reduces the speed.

ADJUSTMENTS Lawnaire ADJUSTMENTS Chain: The roller chains should have 1/8" - 1/4" (3-6mm) deflection at the center point between the upper idler and water drum sprockets. NOTE: Do not over tighten the chain. Excessive chain tension will reduce chain and bearing life. It can also lead to fatigue or failure of the frame.

ADJUSTMENTS Lawnaire Forward / Reverse Bail: The forward / reverse bail should be adjusted so the rear bail tube hits the handle just before the pump runs out of stroke. This allows the machine to operate up to its maximum forward speed. 1.
