Appendix D: USCG Check List & Report
For USA vessel owners, please visit the USCG website to download the
voluntary checklist to assist the surveyor or owner in ensuring the ship's
Automatic Identification System (AIS) in operation is properly operating as
defined in 33 CFR §164, 47 CFR §80, and, Safety of Life at Sea Convention
(SOLAS) Chapter V Regulation 18.9.
