2.12 Password Setting

This submenu enables change of the default operator password. Certain important
settings stored within the transponder can only be changed using the operator
password.
The Password is required for the access of the following chapters:
Own ship - contains information about MMSI, vessel name, IMO, call sign and

Long Range Settings -

Long Range Broadcast -

Transceiver - enables the option to activate/deactivate AIS transmission
⚫
I/O Port Settings - about baud rate configuration of sensors

Default password: "000000"
Use direction keys to select Old Password, New Password and then press
enter value. To save the settings, press SAVE button in the view and the system will
ask whether the changes should be saved. Select YES to save or NO to discard and
return to System Configuration submenu.
