Tuning function
1. Manual tuning (saw-wave mode)
(remarks key UP/DWN DOWN)
Manual
tuning
is made
by UP and DOWN
keys while
the AUTO
key is OFF. Each time when either one of these
keys is pressed, the frequency is UP or DOWN
by one step.
When a key is kept pressed for 0.5 second or longer, quick
feed
is made
at a speed of about 60ms~110ms
per step
until the key is released.
2. Auto tuning (saw-wave mode}
(remarks by key UP/DOWN, SEEK UP)
Auto
tuning is made by SEEK
UP key or by UP and
DOWN
keys while AUTO
key is ON. When a key is pressed,
frequency UP/DOWN
is made automatically. When a volt-
age that exceeds 2.539V
is input to the SD terminal, it
is regarded
that waves
are received
from
a broadcasting
station, and this station is held. When
this key is pressed
again during search, movement stops at the frequency.
3. Preset memory (remarks key M1~M6)
Write and read in/out of the preset memory
are made
using
M1I~M6
keys.
FM1/FM2/FM3/MW1/MW2/LW_
in-
dependently
correspond
to each key, and it is possible to
store six stations for each band (6 x 4 bands at maximum).
Write is made while ME is ON, and read is made when ME
is OFF.
4. Preset scan (remarks key P. SCAN/A. MEMO)
Preset
scan
is made
by P.SCAN/A.MEMO
key while
ME
is OFF.
When
this key is pressed, the preset data is
sequentially
read
beginning
with
the
next
memory,
if
started
during
preset
receiving,
or beginning
with M1
in
other cases. After
a complete round, return to the inital
preset channel
(M1
if started at a time that is not during
preset receiving) and a series of operation terminates.
If
this key is pressed again during the operation, the operation
terminates at then preset.
:
Auto memory is accomplished by P.SCAN/A.MEMO key
while ME is ON. When this key is pressed, search for a sta-
tion is made beginning with M1 in the UP direction from
the
currently
received
frequency,
and
memory
write
is
performed
when
a station
is found.
The operation
ter-
minates when
memory
write
is completed
up to M6 or
when search of two rounds terminates. (The field intensities
of receiving stations are different between the first round
and
the
second
round.
See
description
of functions
of
keys for details.) If this key is pressed again during opera-
tion, the operation terminates with the then frequency and
auto memory is cancelled.
6. ABSS (remarks key ABSS)
UP SEEK
is made when such a status that the currently
receiving station is SD = Low is continued
for 4 seconds
while
the ABSS
key is ON, and this UP SEEK
stops at
a frequency of SD = High and A/D input voltage of Vb or
higher.
