1. Loosen the wing nut on the lock side. Gently return the bass drum to an upright position.
2. Loosen the vying nut on the free side, slide both fixing plates to the outside.
3. Tighten the wing nut on the lock side so that the unit does not rotate.
4. Simultaneously lift both sides of the bass drum to remove it from the stand.
