1. With the bass drum's lug parallel to the floor, mount the base drum on the stand base's pivot unit. (See Fig. A)
Make sure that the line between both lugs runs through the center of the bass drum as shown in the diagram.

2. Slide both fixing plates toward the bass drum body, and firmly tighten the wirg nut on the pivot unit.($ee Fig. 2)
3. If the Yamaha logo is off center(see FigB), remount the drum sothatthelogois parallel to the floor.
