B To connect the DMA-1100P to your computer or your existing HomePlug network
using a HomePlug connection, plug the DMA-1100P into a standard power outlet in
your home.
• Then use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer or router to a HomePlug
adapter such as ZyXEL's PLA-400. Follow the instructions that came with your
HomePlug adapter.
• If your router is already HomePlug enabled, you do not need to connect it to a
HomePlug adapter.
• Finally, go to Options > Homeplug in the on-screen menu to give your DMA-1100P
the same network password as that of the HomePlug adapter you wish to connect
to.
To set up a HomePlug network, see the User's Guide on the CD that came with the pack-
age.
5 Connect the POWER socket to a power source using only the included power cord.
6 Your computer should already be turned on. Turn on the TV and the DMA-1100P.
2.1 Check the LEDs (Lights)
Look at the front of the device.
1 The power light (
2 The LAN light (
3 The HomePlug light (
4 The USB light (
Check your connections if the lights do not come on.

) comes on if you are connected to a computer with the LAN cable.
) comes on if you are connected to another HomePlug device.
