WATERPROOF
CHECK
(1) Perform with the ornamental sheet, knob orna-
mental
plate
and
ornamental
plate
(A),

removed. (See page 5.)

(If there is leakage when checking with them on,
they must be replaced with new ones.)

(3) Place inmore than 30cm of water for 30 minutes.
(Close DC jack and packing firmly.)

(5) Check all operations.
(If water has entered, ab-
normal operation will occur.)
(6) Open the cassette case and wipe off all moisture

OCCURS
DURING
WATERPROOF
CHECK:
Dry the mechanism section and amp board, jack,
etc.
with
a hairdryer,
perform
waterproofing
pro-
cedures again and recheck starting with step (1).
