ADJUSTMENTS
1.
Adjusting the height position of the stylus at
UP/DOWN
Proceed to adjust as
outlined below so that the clear-
ance between the record and stylus is 5 +1 mm.

1)
Set the turntable to the play mode, and adjust the
thrust adjust screw so that the clearance between
the
record
and
the stylus
is 4.5mm
when
the
tonearm is raised manually.
2)
After the record has been played (turntable is now
set to the stop
mode), check that the clearance
between
the record and the stylus is 5 +1 mm.
If,
after checking, the clearance is found to be less or
more than this value, turn the thrust adjust screw
to the left or right, and
adjust for
a 5 +1-mm
clearance.

Proceed
to adjust the syncrate operation
as outlined
below so that the clearance between the record and the
stylus is 1-2 mm.
1)
Detach
the bond
lock of the syncrate
plate D,
loosen the screw underneath the microswitch, turn
the adjust screw to the left or right and adjust.

Turn the screw to the left if the syncrate ope-
ration is faster,
*
Turn
the screw
to the right if the syncrate
operation is slower.
