1.
Touch
on the control bar for the keyboard.
2.
On the keyboard, touch

Start writing in the large area at the bottom of the screen.
To switch back to the text field, just touch it.
Switch back to keyboard or writing in text field

To write directly in the text field, just touch inside it with the stylus.
