Before starting the tool, remove the mounting spanner and check free running.

Wear safety gloves!
Risk of injury due to sharp cutting edges!
Wear ear protection!
Risk of becoming hard of hearing!
Check the cutting edges, clamping elements, screws and tool bodies regularly for
potential damages – especially after collision of the tool with parts of the machine e.g.
machine table, work piece clamping elements, extraction hood.
Damaged or worn cutting parts, clamping elements or screws have to be replaced set-
wise immediately with original replacement parts.
Damaged tools have to be checked by an expert.
Tools with cracked bodies or deformed seatings of the cutting parts have to be taken out
of service.
Repairing such tools is not allowed!
Do not use a deformed tool!
Risk of tool breakage !
Risk of injury due to ejected parts!
Always remove the clamping key after completing the mounting.

Cleaning and maintenance of woodworking tools
Tools must be regularly cleaned of chips and resin built-up and protected against
corrosion. Regular cleaning increases tool life and reduces energy consumption.
