Hi, I'm looking to extend wifi between two flats. I may not get permission to attach the devices to the exterior. There are 2 other flats between the ones I want to connect. Total distance would only be about 40m between the devices. Would they work if internally located at this distance with various walls between them? Many thanks. Adam

The Adalov CPE660 wireless bridge supports a POE power supply and can extend a network within 65 meters using a CAT-5 or better cable. However, it primarily functions as a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless bridge. While it can cover distances up to 3KM in open space, several walls between the two flats may significantly weaken the wireless signal, reducing performance. If there are multiple thick walls, the connection may be unstable or slow. Using a clear line of sight or minimizing obstacles would improve performance.

The Adalov CPE660 receiver module may not have internet access due to several possible reasons:

1. Incorrect IP Configuration – The computer connected to the receiver must have an IP address in the 192.168.255.x range (excluding the bridge’s IP). If the IP is not set correctly, the connection may fail.

2. LAN Port Disconnection – The green light on the LAN1/LAN2 port should be solid. If it is off, the Ethernet cable may be disconnected or faulty.

3. Weak Wireless Signal – In slave bridge mode, the LED indicators show signal strength. If few lights are on, the signal is weak, affecting connectivity.

4. Incorrect Master-Slave Pairing – If the master bridge and slave bridge are not properly paired, the receiver will not receive data from the master bridge.

5. Power Supply Issue – The device requires a DC12V or 24V POE power supply. If power is unstable or insufficient, the device may not function properly.

6. Network Configuration Issues – If the master bridge is not connected to a functioning network or router, the receiver module will not receive internet access.

Checking these factors can help diagnose and resolve the issue.
