Changing the AM tuning steps
The tuning steps of the AM band for this unit
can be switched between 9 kHz and 10 kHz
per step. The tuning step should be switched
from 9 kHz (which is preset at the factory) to
10 kHz when this unit is used in North
America, Central America or South America.

Set the ignition switch to the OFF position.
While pressing the [2] button, set the igni-
tion switch to the ACC or ON position.
Remember that changing the tuning steps
also deletes frequencies stored in the tuning
memories.
