Initial implementation
Unpack the device. Avoid using sharp objects when unpack-
ing. Check for completeness. Check the device for external
damage.
Before using the device for the first time, read the instructions
for use carefully and completely.
Before using the device, the first time, clean the components
as described in Section „PROCESSING/CLEANING". Store
the components in a dry, clean and dust-free place until they
are used for the first time.
Step 1:
Remove the long blue protective cap
from the Geratherm
Step 2:
Remove the lens carefully by pulling
away from the main body.
Step 3:
Hold the lens with the flat inner side facing upwards or place
the lens on a table with the arched outer side.
Dab a drop of saliva from the underside of the tongue with
a clean, dry finger into the center of the flat inner side of the
lens without smearing the drop.
