    2. GERÄTEBESCHREIBUNG Die Black-Box Preamp ist eine externe Netzteilverstärkung für das Phono Module. Sie enthält ei-ne ausgeklügelte Schaltung mit hochwertigsten Elkos (produziert in der EU von EPCOS), die die Stromzufuhr des Netzteiles erhöht und es gegen auftretende Netzschwankungen stabilisiert. Tieffrequente Netzstörungen werden damit wirkungsvoll unterdrückt.

    4. ANSCHLUSS AN DEN VERSTÄRKER  Beachten Sie die Sicherheits- und Aufstellungshinweise (siehe Seite 1). Vor dem Anschließen des Geräts das Phono Module mit dem Netzschalter ausschalten oder den Netzstecker ziehen. Steckverbinder so einführen, dass die Nase des Steckers in die Nut der Buchse geführt wird und die Überwurfmutter zudrehen.

    For reasons of safety, please ensure that servicing, repairs and other modifications to OCTAVE unit are carried out only by a qualified technician. Defective fuses should also only be re-placed by a qualified technician. Always replace fuses with ones of the same type and rating.

UNIT DESCRIPTION An external upgrade of the power supply of the Octave Phono Module, the Black Box Preamp features a sophisticated circuit with superior capacitors (produced in the EU and sourced from EPCOS), and serves to increase the current flow while making the power supply immune to mains power fluctuations.

    4. CONNECTING TO THE AMPLIFIER ► Please observe the safety instructions and positioning information (see page 1). Before connecting the unit, make sure that the Phono Module is switched off via its on/off switch or disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
