SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
8.1
Remove the 40" Pro Mower from the shipping container.
8.2
Remove the belt cover.
8.3
eitach the
mower
to the
Pro Power Unit with the four 5/8" bolts and nuts
provided
in
the hardware
pack.

8.4
Position
the
mower drive belt on the mower deck and around the drive sheave on the
Pro J
,t
Power Unit. See Figures
2
and 4.
8.5
Tighten the mower belt by adjusting the nut on the idler rod
untilthe
gap between the coils
of the spring is .010"
to
.015" (.25mm
to .38mm).
Hold
the adjusting nut and lock the jam
nut against
it.
8.6
Replace
the
belt cover.
