SPECIAL SAFETY MEASURES
► Never leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
► Do not let water spill on the power cord and plug or expose it to steam. This
may result in electric shock.
► Never move the appliance or the cooking pot when it is in operation to avoid
risk of causing serious burns. Always unplug before moving.
► Extreme caution must be used when moving any appliance containing hot
liquids or foods. Unplug and allow the cooking pot to cool before removing.
► Do not operate the appliance without the lid closed firmly. Proper precautions
must be taken to prevent risk of burns, fires or other damage to persons
or property.
► This appliance generates heat during operation and escaping steam during
use. Beware of the hot steam that comes out of the steam vent during
cooking or out of the rice cooker when opening the lid.
► Do not get your face close to the steam vent or touch it with your hand. Hot
steam may cause burns.
► Do not cover the steam vent and the lid when the appliance is in use.
► Do not touch hot surface. Always use handle or knobs.
► Insert the power cord to both the rice cooker's socket and power supply outlet
firmly to avoid an electric shock and fire.
► Do not use the cooking pot if it has deformed or damaged. To prevent
damage or deformation, do not use the cooking pot on a stovetop or burner.
► Do not allow water or any other liquids to get into the appliance, heating plate
or the power cord socket. Always keep the appliance dry.
► Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
► Do not leave the spatula or measuring cup in the cooking pot while the
appliance is on and in use.
► Always use the plastic spatula provided to stir or serve food. Do not use any
metal utensils to avoid damaging the cooking pot surface.
► Do not keep the appliance in operation when there is only a small amount of
rice or water left in the cooking pot.
► If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug the
cord. Do not use or attempt to repair the malfunctioning appliance.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
If your appliance does not operate or does not operate properly, contact an
authorized service centre for consultancy or repair.
The warranty does not cover:

Product packing, consumables and accessories (knives, tips, etc.);

Mechanical damages and natural wear of the product;

Failures due to overloading, improper or careless maintenance, penetration
of liquids, dust, insects and other foreign matter inside the product, exposure
of plastic and other non thermal-resistant components to high temperatures,
force-majeure circumstances (accidents, fire, flooding, power grid failure,
lightning strike, etc.);

Damages caused by:
► Non-fulfillment of the above-mentioned precautions and operating manuals.
► Application in commercial purposes (application of the product beyond
personal daily living needs).
► Connection to a grid with a voltage that differs from what is indicated on the
appliance.
► Unauthorized repair or replacement of the components of the appliance,
performed by an unauthorized person or service centre.
