VOLTAGE SELECTOR
LINE VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH
|
The line voltage selector switch is on the rear panel.
Before your model
is shipped from the factory, this
switch is set to the power requirements of the destina-
tion. Check that it is set properly before plugging the
power cord into the AC wall socket. If the voltage is not
properly set or if you move to an area where the voltage
requirements differ, adjust the selector switch as follows.
1. Use a medium-size screwdriver.
2. insert the screwdriver into the groove on the voltage
selector, and adjust to the voltage value of your area.
ABOUT UNIT COOLING
This stereo component is cooled by a forced cooling
system.
Cool outside air is taken in through the intake
vents on the unit's left side and lower front edge, and
heated air is exhausted by a fan through the vents on
the rear panel. As a result, objects should not be placed
nearby the unit where they might block the intake or
outlet vents, and likewise, the unit should not be installed
in a narrow space (such as a rack) where the intake or
outlet vents might be obstructed.
