Thank you for purchasing the Navis wireless level display unit. Read the instructions carefully and save them for future
reference. Instructions for sensors are not part of these instructions, they are included with the sensors.
INTRUDUCTION
The LW5 is designed to receive and display level data sent by various Navis level sensors. It can receive and display data from
up to four different tanks. In addition to showing the current level in the tanks, the graphs also show the daily, weekly,
monthly and yearly history of levels. Adjustable sound and light alarm warns when the level reaches the set limit. The display
is powered by batteries or optionally via an adapter.
SHORT INSTRUCTIONS
TO START THE OPERATION OF THE DISPLAY, YOU NEED:
1. Screw on the supplied antenna. Only connect the antenna via the SMA connector when the display is switched off.
2. Insert the batteries into the receiver or connect an external AC adapter (optional).
3. In the setting menu, set the address of the sensors from which you want to receive level data.
4. set the empty and full levels in the menu.
5. set the tank capacity, tank shape and measurement unit in the menu.
SENSOR ADDRESS SETTING
In order for the receiver to receive data from the sensor, the set address must be the same as the sensor address. If the
display was purchased complete with a sensor, the correct address is already set. The address (01 to 255) is indicated on the
sensor/transmitter label.
EMPTY AND FULL LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
There are two way to set empty and full levels:
A. By saving the current measurement received from the sensor as empty or as full level (normally used for capacitive
sensors).
B. Direct entering a number for Lo and Hi levels (normally used for ultrasonic and hydrostatic pressure sensors).
Attention! the raw measurement sent by the sensor is not liters - it's raw level data measured by sensor.
TANK CAPACITY AND SHAPE SETTINGS
To display the contents in selected units correctly, enter the tank capacity and the shape of the tank in the menu. With the
irregular shape of the tank, you can also create a custom shape yourself.
