• The lift must be assembled according to the assembly instructions provided by RoMedic. • Warranty applies only if repairs or alterations are made to the product by personnel who are authorized by RoMedic. • Batteries control unit and actuators on the lift must not come in direct contact with water.
M A N U A L Assembly of Carina350EM/EE Check to ensure that all components are included: Mast with boom, lift motor, slingbar and control box. Undercarriage with base-width adjustment motor (EE) or base-width adjustment pedals (EM). Handset and cord. Locking handle for mounting mast on undercarriage.
M A N U A L Final inspection Inspect the lift for signs of wear and damage. Check all four castor wheels and castor wheel locks. Check all connections and fixtures including screws and bolts. Check the packaging for any loose bolts and screws.

M A N U A L Charging batteries Connect the adaptor to the lift and to a wall outlet. Check to ensure that the LED lamps marked “Power” and “Full” light up. The “Power” and “Full” LED lamps indicate that the battery receives power during charging.
That all cables are properly and securely connected. Pull out the contact and plug it in again firmly. If the lift is still not working properly, contact RoMedic. If the lift makes unusual noises: Try to locate the source of the sound, take the lift out of operation and contact RoMedic. Ver.1 090716...
M A N U A L Accessories Slings The RoMedic Slings are available in different fabrics and are a series of several sling models. The choice of model and material is determined by the patient’s functional capacity and the situations in which the product is to be used.
M A N U A L Other maintenance details: The lift must undergo thorough inspection at least once per year. This must be done by authorized RoMedic service personnel and in accordance with RoMedic’s service manual. Repairs and maintenance may only be done by authorized personnel using original spare parts.
