HygieneSling is easy to apply and facilitates dressing/undressing of the patient in connec-
tion with visits to the toilet. It features leg sections, which means that the patient does not
sit on the sling. Instead, the sling provides support from the tailbone up over the head and
under the legs. HygieneSling is designed for most lifting situations that involve dressing and
undressing of the patient. HygieneSling is available in three models: without belt, with belt
and a model with a belt and extra back support
HygieneSling is one of a series of different sling models. The choice of model and material
is determined by the patient's functional capacity and the situations in which the product is
to be used.
RoMedic's slings and lifts are part of the SystemRoMedic concept, which takes a holistic
approach to patient transfers. SystemRoMedic has four categories: transfer, repositioning,
support and lifting.

Functional instructions

Check the condition and function of the sling regularly, and always after laundering. Check
to ensure that the fabric is not worn, damaged or bleached. If there are signs of wear, the
product must be tested for strength and discarded if there is a doubt of its safety.
Always read the instructions
Read instructions for all assistive devices used in connection with transfers.
Choose the sling size carefully so as to prevent discomfort and the risk of the patient sliding
out of the sling. If the sling is too large, there is a risk that the patient may slide out of it.
Do not leave the patient unattended during a lifting situation.
Apply the sling's back loops before applying the leg support loops. Always use an approved
slingbar.
