12. Attach one lift arm to each rear deck lift arm loosely. Using 2 socket head screws, 2 flat
washers and 2 nyloc nuts per side (Fig. 6).
13. Slide the lift shaft through the lower hole in one lift arm. Assemble the large flat washer and
5/32 x 1-1/2 cotter pin. Spread the cotter pin to secure. Slide the opposite end of the lift
shaft into the lower hole of the opposite lift arm. Assemble the large flat washer and cotter
pin, and then spread the cotter pin to secure. Tighten all 4 socket head screws.

3.4 INSTALLING THE BLADE

1. Slide the blade frame beneath the traction unit, slide 2 large flat washers on the shaft and
hook the rear shaft of the blade frame into the slots in the support plates (Fig. 7).
2. To keep the blade assembly from moving around in the slots, attach a retainer plate to
each side of the support plates with a screw (1/4 x 5/8 in.) and lock washer (Fig. 7).
