Operation Operation Impeller Speed Display Located below the impeller speed control. Note: Determine the left and right sides of the This display shows the speed setting number from machine from the normal operating position. 1–10 (1 is the slowest speed and 10 is the fastest). A Important: The intended use of this spreader circle will display when the control has been turned attachment is for dispersing grass seed.

Operation Spreading Spreading Tips: • To ensure uniform application, be sure to overlap the grass seed distribution. The highest amount of seed will dispense from the front of the hopper and less from each side. Adjust the distribution pattern to achieve desired results.

Operation g207728 Figure 18 1. Effective spreading width—variable 4–22 ft (1.2–6.7 m) Evaluate the spread pattern. If adjustments are needed see the Spreader Pattern Adjustment section. When finished spreading, close the hopper gate.
Operation Spreader Pattern Adjustment • to the left side, slightly pull the control handle rearward. If the spread pattern is skewed or dispensing too • to the right side, slightly push the control light/heavy to one side (see Figure 19 ), adjust the handle forward.
