3.3 Lifting and Transporting the machine
3.3.1 Lifting the compactor
Use and lifting hook when lifting machine. Make sure lifting device has enough capacity to hold
machine (see identification plate on machine for weight).
3.3.2 Use the trolley wheel (if equipped) for short distance transportation.

3.4 Trouble Shooting

SYMPTOM
The V-belt slipping.
It vibrates, but does
not move.
Travels reverse very
slowly.

3.5 Engine will not start

Cause
Fuel tank empty.
Fuel tap closed.
Air filter dirty.
Engine switch set to "OFF".
Recoil starter defective.
Oil level warning system turned off.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Adjust or change the V-belt.
It does not advance.
The vibrator maybe on a slippery
surface.
Air in the circuit.
SOLUTION
The clutch is slipping.
Check or change the clutch.
Try on the right surface.
Check and purge the circuit.
Remedy
Refill with fuel.
Open.
Clean.
Set the engine switch to "ON".
Repair.
Top off with engine oil.
