Formatting the Drive:

The Kanguru Fire Flash is formatted as FAT by default. You can format the drive
as FAT, FAT32, Mac OS Extended, or Mac OS Standard. To format the Fire
Flash drive, use the system format utilities on PC or Mac.
IF YOU ARE ONLY USING THE DRIVE ON A MAC OS THEN FORMAT THE
DRIVE AS MAC OS EXTENDED TO ACHIEVE THE BEST TRANSFER
RATES!
NOTE:
Formatting the drive will erase all data currently on the drive. Save any
information you want to keep from the drive to your computer's hard drive before
formatting. If you plan to use the drive on both PC's and Mac's then you must
use the FAT or FAT32 file system as a PC will not recognize a Mac OS Extended
file system.
