    1. If your computer is not turned on, please do so at this time and wait for your operating systems to load. 2. Remove the cap from your Kanguru Fire Flash drive and plug it into any 6- pin FireWire port on your computer.

    Mac users: Drag the Kanguru Fire Flash drive icon to the trash before removing the drive from the system. Windows Me/2000/XP users: Click on the green Remove Hardware icon on the right side of the taskbar and select the Kanguru Fire Flash to safely remove the drive. NOTE: If you do not properly remove the drive from your system, then you may have to reboot your computer in order for the drive to be recognized again.

    Kanguru Fire Flash Formatting the Drive: The Kanguru Fire Flash is formatted as FAT by default. You can format the drive as FAT, FAT32, Mac OS Extended, or Mac OS Standard. To format the Fire Flash drive, use the system format utilities on PC or Mac.
