Radio Basics
To change Tuner Mode
Press [MODE] to switch the operation mode in the following order.
Tuner — CDplayer — CD Changer Control"

Selecting a Band
Press [BAND] to select the bands in the following order.
FM1—FM2-—FM3—AM

"STEREO" indicator lights if the station is broadcasting in stereo.
Manual Tuning
Press [> TUNE] or [< TUNE] to move to a higher or iower fre-
quency.
Seek Tuning
Press and hold [> TUNE] or [< TUNE] for more than 0.5 second,
Hold and Release E " then release. The radio automatically stops on the next station.
| MONO/LOCAL Selection
e Much interference is reduced during a weak FM stereo broad-
casts when MONO is ON. (Only for FM mode)
e Searching stops automatically at a strong signal station only
when LOCAL is ON.
Press [MONO] to switch between stereo and MONO mode as
follows.
MONO OFF <—> MONO ON
Press [LOCAL] to switch on or off the LOCAL mode as foilows.
LOCAL OFF LOCAL ON
