FUNCTION Button :
Used to set functions.
SPEED Button :
Used to store/recall numbers in the unit's memory.
POWERIIN-USE indicator :
Lights when the unit is on. When the unit is in use, it flick-
ers.
ERRORINO PAPER indicator :
Lights if something goes wrong with either your machine or
the fax communications, or if the recording paper has run
out.
FLASH Button :
Used to take a second incoming call on the same line, or to
transfer a call behind PABX.
REDIAL/PAUSE Button :
Used to start redialing, or to enter a pause when storing or
dialing a telephone number.
TONE Button :
Used to produce touch-tone for tone service.
MONITOR START/COPY
Dial Keypad :
Used to dial a phone number.
RECEIVE/POLL Button and Indicator :
Used to select proper receiving mode. The indicator will
light in automatic receiving mode, flicker in ans/fax made,
and be off in manual receiving mode.
When pressed after dialing telephone number, this buton
is used to poll a document loaded on the remote fax
machines.
FINE Button and Indicator :
Used to improve the clarity of a poorly printed document.
The indicator will light when the fine resolution activates
STOP Button:
Used to cancel operation
START/COPY Button :
Used to start operation or make copies.
MONITOR Button :
Allows you to dial number without picking up the handse_
