Memory Repeat — To specify a point to return to later
Playback
Press REPEAT A button at the point you want
to see or listen to again (point A).
The A indicator lights on the display window
of the front panel.
When you wish to return to point A, press
PLAY button (®} on the remote control unit.
| AB Repeat — To repeat a specified section
Playback
Press REPEAT A button at the start point of
the section to be repeated.
The A indicator lights on the display window
of the front panel.
Press REPEAT B button at the end point of
the section to be repeated. Playback returns
to the beginning of the section and the sec-
tion is repeated continuously.
The REP and A-B indicators light on the dis-
play window
of the front panel.
Chapter/Track Repeat — To repeat the current chapter or track
Press
REPEAT
B button
while
the
chap-
ter/track to be repeated is playing.
The REP indicator lights on the display win-
dow of the front panel.

When the end of the chapter/track is reached,
the player returns to the beginning of the
chapter/track and the chapter/track is played
back repeatedly.
To exit repeat mode:
Press CLEAR
button on the remote
contro! unit. Repeat
mode is canceled and normal playback continues from the
current point.
To specify a different point in Memory Repeat mode:
Press REPEAT A button at the new point. The previously
memorized point is erased and replaced with the new point.
Memory Repeat and A-B Repeat with CDV discs:
These repeat functions can only be carried out within the
video part or within the audio part, and cannot be carried
out between the two parts.

For LDs without chapter numbers:
Chapter
repeat cannot
be carried
out.
With these
LDs,
REPEAT B is pressed once, one-side repeat will be carried
out and REPEAT B is pressed twice, two-side repeat will be
carried out.
