MOUNTING OPTIONS Two Mounting Options Downrod Mount Angled Ceiling Mount (Up to 16 degrees) Choose one of the following mounting options: Downrod Mount is best suited for ceilings 8 ft. or higher. For taller ceilings you may want to use a longer downrod (not included).

    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN INSTALLING THE FAN AND SAVE INSTRUCTIONS. CAUTION: This fan is not suitable for damp or outdoor locations. All set screws of the fan must be checked and retightened where necessary before installation. To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade brackets when installing the brackets, balancing the blades or cleaning fan.

    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: To avoid risk of electric shock, be sure to shut off power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box before installing or servicing this fixture. Turning off the electrical power by using the light switch is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock.
  • Page 6 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Turn OFF the electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker. DANGER: Failure to disconnect the power supply prior to installation may result in serious injury or death. Mounting Bracket Screw 2. Loosen all four mounting bracket screws located on the mounting bracket and completely remove the two screws from the round holes in the canopy.
  • Page 7 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 5. Insert the downrod through the canopy and yoke Braided Cable cover. Feed the wire and braided cable from the fan through the downrod. Depending on the length of Canopy downrod you use, you may need to use the 36-inch Yoke Cover lead wire to accomodate a 36 or 48-inch downrod (sold separately).

If desired, the braided cable can be cut and removed using wire cutters (sold separately). Skip to Step 11.

CAUTION: Avoid cross-threading the glass during installation. Improper installation could cause the glass Light Kit bowl to be difficult to remove or fall, which could cause serious injury.
  • Page 11 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. To operate the fan using the remote, press and release the following buttons: LED Indicator - Indicates the three speeds of the fan. It should illuminate when any remote button is pressed. If not, replace the DC3V, CR2032 batteries. Fan Power button has three options: Turns the fan off or turns fan on at previously selected speed.

Using a ceiling fan will allow you to raise your thermostat setting in summer and lower your thermostat setting in winter without feeling a difference in your comfort. In warmer weather, push the reverse switch to the left, which will result in downward airflow creating a wind chill effect.

    TROUBLESHOOTING If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan, it may be the result of incorrect assembly, installation or wiring. In some cases, these installation errors may be mistaken for defects. If you experience any faults, please check the Troubleshooting section below.
