Mounting instructions: Attaching the scanner holder to the DLT-V73

These mounting instructions apply to all DLT-V73 models. They describe how to attach
the appropriate Advantech scanner mounting kit.
Read and observe the mounting instructions carefully.

Keep them for future reference.

WARNING
Risk of injury due to weight and sharp-edged parts.
The DLT-V73 can fall down and cause injuries due to its weight. The strain relief
rail can have sharp edges and cause cutting injuries.
 Always hold the device by the housing with both hands.
Never use the antenna cap as a handle. It can break due to the weight

involved.
 Do not hold the device by the strain relief rail.
 Use the assistance of a second person for installation work.

These mounting instructions are intended for skilled personnel. Only qualified
skilled personnel may mount/install DLT-V73 devices

Tools required
Allen key (5 mm width for M6)

Socket wrench (size 7)

Installation sequence
If the DLT-V73 is being used with a scanner mount:
First assemble the scanner holder.

 Then mount the adapter plate on the scanner holder.
 Then mount the scanner holder with the adapter plate on the DLT-V73.
Not until then, mount the complete system at the deployment location, e.g., to the

forklift (RAM Mount).
