(3.2) Kit Edit Mode Overview

To open Kit Edit Mode, press the Kit button and then tap Kit Edit on the left edge of
the screen.
1.
Search
The Search Bar shows the contents of the Browser List. There can only be four
different types of filters in the search bar at one time:
• Class (Snare, Percussion, etc.).
• Library (NY Maple Kit, Roto Kit, Vintage Kit 2, User, etc.)
• Favs (Favorites) Kit Pieces that you have starred.
• User defined search (via touch keyboard entry): This is used to manually
search for Kit Pieces. A numerical list of the current search results is shown
next to KIT PIECES above the Search bar.
To manually search for kit pieces:
1.
Press the area near the magnifying glass icon in the filter box. An overlay with
a generic keyboard will appear.
2. Enter a search term.
3. Tap the check mark at the bottom right of the keyboard or cancel the action
by tapping the back arrow at the top left.
Filtering out content from the Search Bar
For example, if you only want Kick references to show up in the Search, tap "Class"
and select "Kick" from the class menu. This will filter out all other classes of kit
pieces (snares, toms, cymbals, etc.) from your search results. If you would like to
remove a filter, click the X next to that filter in the search bar. Clicking the X next
to the Kick filter will now show all pieces including Kicks. The search results list will
update automatically.
