    The patron will remove their card and touch OK to return to the Idle screen. NOTE:Once the card is removed the 8225 will return to the idle screen after a few seconds even if the patron neglects to touch the OK button.

    Adding Value to a Card A patron can add value to a card value in one of two ways: • Simply insert their a card into the 8225's card reader to go to the “Adding Funds” screen. • Touch the “Add value to a card” button, which provides step by step instructions.

    Adding Funds When the card is inserted, current balance is displayed. • The arrow will change direction pointing toward the bill acceptor. • The message on the screen will reflect the current card value and inform the patron the maximum amount that can be inserted.
