    4. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE 4.1 Transport The Flex Frame 3.0 design lets it be lifted and moved by hand. If a machine is used for lifting the Flex Frame 3.0, then lifting straps should be used for separate items. The straps must be attached carefully to prevent sliding out, hanging crooked, or damage to the parts.

    5. INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING 5.1 Setting up the Flex Frame 3.0 1. The Flex Frame 3.0 must always be secured correctly to a bundle and/or scaffold to ensure safe operations. Using a scaffold and scaffold clamps or a second horizontal rail is strongly recommended when cleaning a bundle larger than 1.8 meters in diameter.

  • Page 13 6. A second horizontal rail is recommended when using the Flex Frame 3.0 with the standard 4” rails on large (>1.8 meters) and vertical bundles. When using the Flex Frame 3.0 with the optional 2.5” rails, a second horizontal rail is always required for safe operations.

Ensure that the cleaning equipment mount is minimally placed over half of the clamping area, so enough clamp force is applied.

    5.2 Modification to 2.5” rails (option) The Flex Frame 3.0 standard has 4” rails but can easily be modified to work with 2.5” rails. Follow the steps below to modify the Flex Frame 3.0 to work correctly with 2.5” rails.
