A.S.E.S. (Auto Synchro Editing System}
a What is A.S.E.S.?
ALL
: All discs recorded A.S.E.S.
@Two ASES modes are available ... ASES1 and ASES2.
in the ASES1 mode, recording is performed in the order of
tracks on a disc, or in the programmed playback order. In the
ASES2 mode, the first track on each disc is recorded in order.
Using the A.S.E.S. Function
:

1, Load discs in the CD player. (Refer to page 14.)
@Select ALL or SINGLE with the MODE/CD MODE button on
the remote control.
eUse the program function to record tracks in a specific
order.
eWhen recording beginning with a specific disc, use the
DISC SELECT button to select the disc number.
e Never insert more than one disc at a time into one slot. This
can scratch or damage the discs.
2. Press the CD function button.
Play starts automatically, so be sure to press the STOP
button.
3. Load a tape for recording into TAPE II.
Recording is in the forward direction.
@Wind the tape past its leader portion so that the magnetic
surface is exposed. (Refer to page 13.)

When "ASES 2" is displayed, if you perform operation 6, the first
tracks only on each disc are recorded, and programs are canceled.
To cancel the A.S.E.S.:
Press the STOP button (m).
