8 MOUNTING OPTIONS
8.1
MD54 Compass Sensor Adhesive Mount F054001
The MD54 Adhesive Mount from MARINE DATA is a non-ferrous mounting for attaching
the MARINE DATA MD52A Ship's Magnetic Compass Sensor to an existing ship's
magnetic compass. The MD54 is designed to adhere to the smooth concentric area
located underneath the majority of externally gimballed ship's magnetic compasses.
Alternatively, 3x M3 fixing screws can be used to secure the mount.
• Non-ferrous Acetal plastic body and brass sensor clamp ring
• Supplied with both a self-adhesive pad option and M3 fixing screw option for
mounting to the compass
Once securely mounted, the MARINE DATA MD52A Compass Sensor detects the
magnetic compass Heading.
For a ship's compass where the MD54 Adhesive Mount cannot be fitted, we
recommend the MD58 Bracket Mount.
