1. Switch the pump on.
2. Close the ball valve on the drain pipe ⑩ (⌦D).
3. Wait until the water rises in the shaft and runs through the emergency overflow pipe.
4. Open the ball valve slowly and gradually, and note the effect on the water level in the shaft. The
water level will fall slightly, or will persist.
5. Lower the water level by 3 - 6 cm from the upper edge of the emergency overflow pipe.
6. Close the ball valve until the water level remains constant.
7. Check the water level in the filter basin. If necessary, add more water.
Fitting the cover (only incpiria marine) (⌦F)
The cover ⑱ is narrower in width than the cover ⑲.
1. Place the cover ⑱ in the lower sliding surface of the cover frame.
2. Place the cover ⑲ in the upper sliding surface of the cover frame.
Opening/closing the cover
CAUTION! Material damage.
Condensation can form on the underside of the covers.
▶ Only open the covers by pushing them sideways or folding them back to the side.
▶ Before removing the covers, allow the condensation to drip into the aquarium.
7. Maintenance
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Do not use hard objects or aggressive cleaning agents for cleaning the aquarium.
▶ The aquarium components are not dishwasher-proof! Do not clean the appliance or appliance parts
in the dishwasher.
The following sections describe maintenance work necessary for optimum and fault-free operation.
Regular maintenance prolongs the service life and assures functionality of the appliance over a long
period.
Weekly maintenance work
CAUTION! Material damage due to a blocked safety bore.
The safety bore guarantees the overflow protection in the event of power failure.
▶ Ensure that the safety bore in the inflow standpipe is free from algae and dirt accumulation.
1. Remove algae and accumulated dirt from the safety bore ⑳ (⌦G) in the inflow pipe and in the
adjacent area.
2. Remove algae and accumulated dirt from the comb and dual shaft
Maintenance work depending on level of contamination
1. Clean the hose connections as required.
2. Clean the ring filter ② as required
3. Clean the Noise Reduction ③ as required
