T n {1 Setthe power switch to [ON].
* The status indicator fights.
2 Setthe power switch to [OFF].
* When switching the power on/off, do not put any obstacle in front of the fens.
* When the operational mode dial is set to the REC mode and the power
switch is set to [ON] without removing the lens cap, this message is
displayed: "REMOVE LENS CAP AND PRESS SET BUTTON". After
removing the lens cap, press the [REVIEW/SET] button @.
Adjusting the Optical Finder
(Diopter Adjustment)
Before using the camera, by adjusting the
dioptor, it is possible to see the AF target
@) inside the viewfinder well.
1 Adjust the diopter, rotating the diopter
adjustment dial.
* Moving the zoom lever towards T and
taking pictures at a distance of 70 cm -
1 m from the subject, make the top of
the subject match with the parallax
compensation mark ©, in order not to
cut it. When an accurate framing is
necessary, use the LCD monitor.
