• Do not use the product in places where it could be splashed by water.

The fan is running at high speeds and could cause personal injuries.
• Internal cleaning shall be performed by authorized personnel only and do not use harsh
detergent that causes corrosion.

• Please disconnect the power cord and contact the service center if the appliance is damaged
or needs to be replaced.
• Do not block the inlet or outlet of air flow.
Technical safety
• A brazed, welded, or mechanical connection shall be made before opening the valves to permit
refrigerant to flow between the refrigerating system parts.
• Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit should hold a
current valid certificate from a technicians trained by LG, which authorises their competence
to handle refrigerants safely in accordance with an industry recognized assessment
specification.
• Installation or repairs made by unauthorized persons can pose hazards to you and others.
• To ensure safety, do not allow unauthorized personnel to inspect, deal with or damage the
refrigerant pipes.
• Do not ask repair personnel not from the dealers appointed by the manufacturer to repair the
appliance. If necessary, make sure that such repair personnel have relevant knowledge and
skills of flammable refrigerants.
• The information contained in this manual is intended for use by a qualified repair personnel
familiar with the safety specification and equipped with suitable tools and testing instruments.
• Failure to carefully read and follow all instructions in this manual can result in equipment
malfunction, property damage, personal injury and/or death.
• Compliance with local wiring regulations shall be observed.
• When the power cord is to be replaced, replacement work shall be performed by authorized
personnel only using genuine replacement parts.
• The appliance must be grounded properly to minimize the risk of electric shock.
• Do not cut or remove the ground prong from the power plug.
• Connect the ground terminal to the housing screw. Do not screw the ground wire to a non-
metallic material. The housing ground must be connected to the indoor ground wire.
• The refrigerant charging and vacuum treatment used in this appliance require standard
processing procedures. Before they doing so, please consult with qualified service personnel
or dealers.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
