. Before you begin...
* Connect Camcorder to power source.
* Insert the CompactFlash Card (page 51).
1 Press LCD-OPEN and swing LCD
monitor fully open. Adjust viewing
angle.
2 Set POWER to PHOTO.
Built-in Lens Cover opens and
POWER Lamp lights.
* Be sure POWER is fully rotated to
PHOTO position.

PLAY (000) EC * Slide PHOTO MODE to REC.

DISPLAY MENU
REC MODE : PUSH MENU KEY
4 Press MENU for REC Mode.
Press UP A or DOWN ¥ to select
NORMAL or FINE (page 71). Then,
- press DISPLAY to set.
