PRECAUTIONS
@While connecting, turn the amplifier eff.
@ The nominal power handling capacity of the SS-G5D is 80 W.
Be careful not to drive the SS-G5D continuously with power over
80 W.
eAvoid supplying the following signals for a long period of time,
otherwise the speaker units may be damaged.
Continuous sine wave power of more than 5 W
Interstation noise of fm broadcastings
High-frequency signals in fast-forward and rewind modes of
a tape recorder
@ Lower the volume each time you turn your unit "on" or "off"
to avoid sound "bursts".
eTurn off your amplifier when connecting or disconnecting the
input programs to your amplifier.
eDo not touch the cone paper of the unit to avoid damaging it.
eDo not attempt to open the cabinet or remove speaker units.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
eDo not place magnetic tapes on or near the speaker, since the
strong magnetic circuit of the SS-G5D may affect the recorded
portion of tape.
eTo maintain the beauty of your speaker, periodically wipe the
cabinet with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of scouring
powder, abrasive pad or solvent.
FRONT GRILLE INSTALLATION
Mount the front grille to the speaker by matching the mounting
pins to the mounting holes on the baffle board ; insert the upper
pins first, then the lower ones. To remove the grille, pull out
the upper ones, then the lower ones.
